Our Work

ParadiseMoves shares their approach and process in our open to the public Movement SLAM (Storytelling, Listening And Movement) workshops throughout the greater Boston area -- regardless of dance training, ANYONE can participate in a SLAM workshop and have fun building story-telling skills and community in an inclusive space.

A story of discovering one's self worth, bravely tackling topics surrounding identity and mental health through movement and original music (Act I), as well as facilitated discussion that connects audience members with each other (Act II). Enough can be tailored to any age group and for any audience.

ParadiseMoves collaborates with the Boston arts community through our annual "More Than Moves" summer festival.  “More Than Moves” was founded to bring performance artists of all genres together to create work for an evening of performance and raise money for the non-profit organization Transition House, Cambridge's only domestic violence agency. With their mission to create a community and break the cycle of violence in mind, all artists and organizations create work for this festival around the prompt: "Survivors are thrivers."

Interested in joining ParadiseMoves? explore the ways in which art and movement can benefit the larger community and help us all share our own stories?  Let's collaborate!
